UC Davis student Steven Lee has shown leadership normally expected of an experienced politician. As the student government director of city and county affairs, he proposed creating a set of principles to bring the university and city closer together.
The result was the “Principles of One Community” signed by the mayor of Davis and the UC Davis chancellor. The document strengthens the bonds between the city and the university, and shows how UC Davis students carry their learning into action.
